Jan Bechtel wears several hats at Defiance College. Besides
being an artist who works in mixed media, she manages the
Women's Commission Art Gallery in Dana Hall. She serves
Defiance College as Director of Spiritual Life and is the
campus chaplain.

Bechtel received her B.F.A. from Bowling Green State
University and her M.Div. from Earlham School of Religion.

Amy Drees is a multimedia expert who advises faculty on web design
matters and internet interface problems. She teaches a wide range of
technical course and is also the design advisor for the DC literary and
photography magazine.

Drees is working on an American Culture Studies Ph.D. at Bowling Green
State University.

Andrew Schultz directs the Chamber Singers, Concert Choir, Pep Band, and music for DC Players productions. He also teaches a music appreciation course. Andrew holds a bachelor of music degree
and a bachelor of science in business administration from Ohio Northern University. His master of music
and master of business administration degrees come from Bowling Green State University.

He is Artistic and Performance Series Director of the Defiance Community Cultural Councll, Director of
Music at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church in Defiance, and assistant director of the newly formed Belle
Voci da Camera, a professional choir.

In his spare time Andrew sleeps.
